    • Styling and equipment

With styling DNA drawn directly from the HRC CRF450 RALLY Dakar racer, the CRF250 RALLY brings something new to the market. Not only does it look ready to compete in a desert stage, but it also delivers a real taste of adventure to riders who prefer a light, easy-to-manage machine. Whether around the world or around the block, the CRF250 RALLY is good to go.

      Asymmetric LED headlights

Imparting the look of a true desert fighter, the LED asymmetric headlights provide excellent on- and offroad visibility. Others won’t miss your turn either, as the indicators are also LED.

      Large-capacity fuel tank

The 10.1L fuel tank, with a 1.6L reserve, delivers a range of over 320km; perfect for a long weekend tour and, for good measure, a bit of offroading too. The flat filler cap is hinged for easy-fill convenience.

      Floating windscreen

Developed from the parts used by the CRF450 RALLY, the “floating” screen – along with the upper and lower fairing and side shrouds – effectively shields the rider and offers excellent protection from the elements.

    Overview

    • All-terrain performance

With 98Nm of torque, the Africa Twin is built to take you all the way from tarmac touring to off-road rally. The new Africa Twin packs an all-new 4-stroke 1000cc parallel twin engine. It has the muscle to take on extreme off-road environments, offers smooth comfort for long distance touring, and sprightly agility for the everyday commute.

      Up and down the gears

The standard manual version of the Africa Twin has a lightweight six-speed manual gearbox that uses the same shift-cam design found on the trusty CRF250R/450R – and is equipped with an assist slipper clutch. Coupled with a large 18.8 litre fuel tank and top fuel efficiency, it has a range of up to 400 kilometres. Enough to get where you wanted (or weren’t expecting) to go.

      Grip the ground

Anti-locking Braking System (ABS) and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) provide a new level of advanced traction. The Africa Twin’s optional ABS stops the bike from skidding – keeping you in control when you have to brake hard. If the sensors detect a wheel lock, a series of valves use a pulsating braking sequence to quickly stop the bike – without losing traction.

      Total control

When HSTC senses an imminent loss of rear wheel traction, it seamlessly reduces torque to boost grip and avoid wheel spin. Two levels are available, and mode selection appears on the LCD display. If you really want to let loose, individually disable ABS or HSTC with just the push of a button.

In addition to the manual 6-speed gearbox, you can choose optional Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) which gives you a choice of manual or automatic gear-shifting to suit tarmac, dirt tracks and steep mountain passes. No other bike of its type can do this. Up or downhill, on or off road, the CRF1000L DCT is the perfect companion wherever the journey takes you.
